TIAN ZHONGQUAN

田忠泉

B.1968

A top-breed of professionally-qualified still-life oil painter, Tian ZhongQuan moves slowly across his specifically arranged objects in shadow and light, one is transported into the portal of a beautiful, romantic Tang poem that inflames the power of memory and imagination.

Tian ZhongQuan was born in Shandong Province of China in 1968. In 1991, he graduated from the Oil Painting Specialty of the Art Department from the Shandong University. He then furthered his study in oil painting at Zhejiang Fine Arts Academy and graduated in 1993. In 1997, he participated in the China National Art Expo and was awarded the Young Artist Award. He has held exhibitions in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing, China. Since 2005, he has been residing in Shanghai as a professional artist.

 

His works are internationally acquired by private collectors, organizations and foreign embassies in Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, Germany, Holland and the United States.
