Everyone experiences the journey of growth from childhood to adulthood. Regardless of how mature we become physically and mentally, there are always fragments of our inner selves that remain “little.” These fragments might encompass the joy of first tasting cake, the pride felt when a teacher inquires about our dreams of growing up, the childhood games that never tire, or even the mischievous pranks orchestrated with friends. They could also include the sting of a lost match or the lasting impact of a food that haunts us.
Wang Yalong aims to create animated characters with distinct personalities that embody different individuals, exploring and reminiscing the pleasures of youth. Through adult-oriented animation, he intends to evoke nostalgia while delving into our journey of growth.
Born in 1989 in Heze, Shandong, Wang Yalong studied Environment Art Design at the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts
